About

Why Choose Me

I bring a rare blend of structured change expertise and compassionate coaching to every client relationship. As a Prosci-certified Change Practitioner with deep experience in organizational transformation, I understand the mechanics of change. As a coach, I focus on how change lands in the body, mind, and spirit. Clients choose me because I don’t treat change as a checklist or a quick fix.

I believe coaching is both an art and a science—rooted in empathy, guided by methodology, and sustained through intentional practice. Whether you are navigating leadership transitions, career shifts, burnout, personal loss, or organizational change, I help you build clarity, resilience, and alignment.

My approach is holistic, ethical, and evidence-based. I meet you where you are, honor your lived experience, and walk alongside you as you move forward with purpose, confidence, and capacity.

Founder & CEO
Change is inevitable—but how you experience it matters.

A New Day Dawns Consulting was created to support people through meaningful change—personally, professionally, and holistically. I’m Dawn Johnson, Founder & CEO, a medically retired Air Force Veteran with over 25 years of service in the federal government. My career has been dedicated to guiding individuals and organizations through transition, complexity, and transformation.

Over the past decade, I’ve led enterprise-wide initiatives focused on customer experience, organizational change, and employee engagement. Through this work, I saw firsthand that sustainable change cannot occur without addressing the whole person—their mindset, values, emotional well-being, and environment. That insight shaped my evolution from change practitioner to coach.

I have built an integrative coaching and consulting practice that bridges evidence-based change management with whole-person healing. Grounded in systems thinking, neuroscience, leadership theory, and holistic wellness principles, A New Day Dawns Consulting exists to help professionals, Veterans, and leaders align emotionally, physically, and spiritually—so change is not only strategic, but deeply human.
